The first thing that i want to say is that Conceal is awesome, user-friendly and easy to use, the most important is fast.. Good job to you, Ankit..
I would like to suggest to you that why not you develop Conceal into a plugin application which end user can install the plugin in their USB flash drive in just seconds or minutes.. It is good that conceal can also hide the files or folder too using steganography technique.. If possible try to develop Conceal that can prevent data saved in the USB drive from being duplicated without authority (Just like Write Blocker function with the Registry Editor policy)..

Any chance of having a PortableApps version that you can run off a USB drive and leaving no trace in the registry?

It's a pretty good suggestion although it is not really a threat at the file security level while encryption.
I could consider releasing portableApps version soon maybe if i receive sufficient responses from the existing users.

Dear Ankit,
I have been using Conceal for a couple of months without any problem but now I am not able to unlock a file. It simply reports Decrytpion failed without any other comment. The password is correct.
How can I solve the problem?

The only possible reason for such an issue could be that the encrypted file has become corrupt. This can only occur, if you have tried to open and modify the encrypted file contents on a text editor, etc.
Therefore the file cannot be read by Conceal anymore. There is no other reason that this could happen.

Wow....this is what i thought when i used this software for the first time and since then i've been hooked onto it....i encrypt my data all the time so this is like a boon for me.....simple and very effective.....simply put this software is f#$%in amazing!

Dear Ankit, I am using Conceal and am quite happy with it. I particularly appreciate semplicity and fastness. I have a few suggestions to improve it:

1) when you move a file to Conceal, the window with password etc is not on the front of the screen: at first trials I tought the software was blocked as I did not notice the dialog window behind explorer window and I had to quit software.
2) if you have to encrypt several files, it can be boring to set similar options for all of them, so I'd like the software to store my preferences in term of encryption options, destination and delete original file. It'd be nice to have a menu with options to set these properties
3) the main window is too large (particularly if you have several open windows) and cannot be resized.

I noticed you have English and German version, if you wish I'm ready to make Italian translation.

Regarding your first issue, the dialog window may behave in such unusual ways very occaisionaly and may happen with any window. All you need to do in such situations is to click the application icon in the task bar and it'll appear.You need not close the app.
Regarding the preferences option to be incorporated in terms of- encryption options, destination and delete original file can be done for sure and i would look towards that in the next version release of Conceal. However having a file-menu based options would make the whole Interface look very conventional and that's what Conceal scores at.

The English and German versions are only a part of setup-language preference and have no effect on the software itself. I would also try and include Italian as a setup language preference for the next version release.
